Plycoselect biofilter and handling table

Plycoselect (Laminex) part of Fletcher Building based at Penrose have used Novamech for numerous projects.  One such project was to model a prototype biofilter unit used to reduce odours from the manufacturing process.  We modelled the unit from site measurements and photographs to produce documentation drawing and 3D images for resource consent application.

Another project for Plycoselect involved modelling a board handling table.  Again accurate site measurements were taken along with a comperhensive set of photographs allowing the unit to be modelled completely in 3D.  We then made alterations to the drive mechanism in order to move all the drive components away from the machine operators for safety.

 A full set of colour images of the existing design and proposed modifications were supplied to the client so that they could present the information to the production team in an easily understandable way.
