The ability to model mechanical parts, assemblies and systems in 3D using SolidWorks software is the core of our service to you.  All of our staff are practical engineers and have achieved CSWP(Certified SolidWorks Professional) qualification. We can export files to and import files from various other CAD formats, so working with your legacy data is not a problem to us.

Conversion of 2D Drawings to 3D Models

Novamech can ‘reverse engineer’ your designs back to accurate 3D models and drawings enabling you to outsource parts if required and easily incorporate modifications into the design.

Component Stress Analysis – FEA

Wondering if your design is strong enough or could be made lighter?

Cosmos FEA (Finite Element Analysis) allows us to apply loads to our models and find out where maximum stress concentrations are. We can then make modifications to the design and re-check stresses to make sure the part is as strong and light as possible.

PhotoWorks Photo-Realistic Rendering

   Does your sales material need an update? 

Using PhotoWorks photo-realistic rendering we can produce life like images of your designs which you can use for sales material or presentations before your product is even made.

Fluid flow simulations are possible to assist evaluation of cooling systems etc.
